How to Get Rid of Abdominal Pain

Put a heating compress on the area

A heating compress is usually a great way to ease the pain.  Place the compress on your area with pain, and be sure to keep it warm when the pad wears off.  You may find that a hot water bottle can do the trick as well if you don’t have a heating compress handy.

Try taking a pain killer over the counter

Painkillers such as Motrin and Advil work great if you have a smaller based abdominal pain.  Keep in mind that this may not work for you, but can be a great solution.  While it may be a quick fix, if the pain is severe, it will come back after the medicine wears off.
