How To Get Rid Of Ring Around Toilet

Are there ring and stains in your toilet? Do you feel embarrassed when a visitor has to use your restroom because they might see this unwanted stain? Removing ring around the toilet is quite tough than removing just any ordinary stain. Nevertheless, there are still things that you can do in order to get rid of ring around the toilet. If you have this unwanted stain, here are some things you can do to bring back that clean condition of your porcelain toilet.

Scrub with baking soda

Baking soda is one tough stain remover. It can work with almost anything. It also leaves your toilet odor free. Simply sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda in a scrub. You can use a scrub with long handle if you don’t want to touch your toilet. Scrub thoroughly the stain and then sprinkle some more baking soda and leave it overnight. IN the morning, check the toilet. If the ring stain is not too bad, it should be already gone. Simply flush the toilet to remove any residue.

Pour some vinegar

Like baking soda, vinegar is one of those house materials that are known to be effective with stains. Simply pour about a cup of vinegar directly to the toilet. Leave it to sit for a few hours to loosen up the stain. Then, mix some vinegar with soapy water. Use this solution to scrub the ring area until it disappears. Once you have finished cleaning the toilet, flush it to rinse the vinegar and soap. To prevent toilet rings from appearing, you can pour some vinegar in your toilet about once a month.

Use some cola

Cola can also remove the ring stain in your toilet. Simply pour one can of it to the toilet. Cola has enough acid level that can fight of the stain and remove the mineral deposits. Use a scrub as well to remove the stain then flush to rinse the area.

Apply some bleach

If milder materials did not work, then you can resort to using bleach. Bleach has concentrated chemicals that can easily kill germs and remove stains and mineral deposits. Simply apply about a cup of bleach to your toilet. Let it sit overnight. Come morning time, using a scrub and detergent soap, clean the toilet. Just flush it to rinse the toilet after you have removed the stain.
