Remove the first layer of BBQ stain

Get as much of the first layer of barbecue stains off as you possibly can. If the stain is wet, use a cloth to absorb the remaining sauce. If your stain is dry, use hard objects with a dull edge such as blunt knives and butter knives to remove the excess stain off your cloth.

Target the stain area with cold water

This will cause the stain to climb up to the surface making it easier to remove. For a little physics lesson, use high pressure faucets to get better results. The higher the water pressure is, the better.

Make use of the liquid detergent

Pour some liquid detergent on the stained area and rub the fabric together. This will most probably loosen up the BBQ stain. Repeat until the stain is gone and send your clothes to the laundry as you normally would. Remember, just rub, rinse, and repeat until the stain goes away.

Use stain removal products

Stain removal products also works wonders. Follow their instruction on how to use that specific product and let the product do its job. It is proven to be very effective since stain removal products have strong substances that will remove the unwanted stains from your cloth. Just be sure they are safe for your fabric. After using the product, launder the fabric as normal.

Use your washing machine

For a good result, set your machine to the lowest load and start adding the bleach. Run water to your machine and then stop it. Soak your stained product and let it sit there for 7 hours. Then, let it go through the wash cycle for a long time. White vinegar can be used as detergent substitute and also works wonders.
