How To Get Rid Of Dirt On Skin
Everything around you is full of dirt. The ground beneath your feet has dirt. The air around you has dirt. The things you put on yourselves have dirt. Even the foods you eat are full of dirt. That is why, it is not impossible if you find yourself feeling quite dirty and uneasy. This may indeed be due to build up of dirt on your skin. Do not worry as almost everyone does not have a perfectly clean and clear skin. However, having excessive dirt in the body is another less pleasant story. If you feel like you are being exposed to too much dirt, you should not just sit and wait until you start to smell filthy.
Because the skin protects the whole body, it is the organ that is most susceptible to dirt. Unfortunately, you cannot just forego this as even small dirt may cause further infections. For example, if your pores have been clogged with dirt, zits and pimples will appear. That is why, at all times, you must at least try to keep your skin clean and protected. Here are some things you can do to get rid of dirt on skin.
Take regular baths
The only way you can deeply cleanse your whole body is to take a bath. You should at least take one bath every day. If you come home from playing games or doing strenuous activities and you ended up all sweaty, you should take another bath as well to remove all the dirt on your body. When you take a bath, use mild, anti-bacterial soap. This will kill any live germs that may be posing as risk on your health. It is also a good idea to use a scrub or loofah so that you can really clean your body thoroughly.
Use facial creams and cleansers
The face and neck both have the most sensitive skin in the body. That is why they are more prone to develop lesions caused by dirt. For this reason, you must take extra care of your face. Use dermatologically-tested facial creams and cleansers for best results. Simply wash your face first with warm water to open up the pores, and then apply the facial cream. Massage it to your face and neck. Rinse with cold water to close up the pores. After washing your face, apply the cleanser by soaking up a cotton ball and rubbing it on your face. Do this twice a day during the morning and before you go to bed.
Go for body scrub and facial treatments
It can be healthy for your skin to go for body scrub and facial treatments every now and then. It can also help you relax after a long, hectic schedule at school or work. If you have some cash, you can go out to the spa and treat yourself for rejuvenating packages about once a month.
Avoid too much cosmetics
While make-up and other cosmetics might make you appear nice for a short while, it will leave unwanted residue on your skin that may cause it to become less beautiful. So as much as possible, avoid wearing too much cosmetics. If you are just going to the mall to shop, there is no need to be dolled up. Only apply make-up on your face if it is necessary, like when you are attending a special occasion. Also, always remember not to sleep with your make-up on as you may wake up with lesions on your face.
