How To Get Rid Of Melasma

So before you go out there, you should wear sun block containing SPF 30 or more.

Moisturize your skin

If your skin is moisturized, your skin will be healthier. You will be able to have a more flexible or elastic skin. Moisturizers also keep your skin hydrated. If there is enough moisture in your skin, the heat that your skin will receive will be regulated, preventing dark spots that might occur. A regular application of quality body lotion is enough to keep your skin moisturized.

Exfoliate your skin

Exfoliation can greatly help in removing dead skin cells that may be causing the dark pigmentation in your skin. Exfoliation can be done by home treatments, facial scrubs and spa treatments. If you are on a strict budget, you can just mash some oatmeal and mix it with honey. Apply this to your face and let sit for a couple of minutes. Then, you can rinse away the oatmeal and honey mask. You can also get commercial products that are very abundant nowadays. Another thing you can do is to just go to the day spa to get some facial scrub treatment.

Use bleaching creams

Bleaching your skin is a major no-no. It damages your natural skin pigmentation. However, if you just want to get rid of the melasma so that you can go out there and show your fair skin, you can use a bleaching cream. The bleaching cream will work by lightening your skin tone, so that the dark spots caused by melasma will be evened out.
