Mouth ulcers are very painful and uncomfortable. They are yellow or white, surrounded by a reddish area, which interfere with eating and tooth brushing because of the pain. Eating healthy foods, regular exercise, reducing stress and enough sleep are only few measures on how to get rid of mouth ulcers both in children and adults.
Garlic can be best remedy for mouth ulcers. Gently rub a piece of garlic on your mouth ulcer daily. Garlic has Allicin which acts as an antiseptic and it contains antiviral and antibacterial properties. It also soothes the discomfort of mouth ulcers during the healing process.
Turmeric is a natural antiseptic and a cooling agent. Mix 3 tbsp. of turmeric powder with 1 tbsp. of water until it turns into a paste. Apply it using a sterile cotton swab in to the entire mouth sore and leave it in your mouth for 1 to 2 minutes and then afterwards, rinse well.

Natural solution can be a good way. Treat your mouth sore using natural solutions after every meal and before going to bed. Fill a glass with lukewarm water. Add 1 tsp. of baking soda and 1 tsp. of salt. Mix it together, and rinse your mouth with it. Leave the solution for a few seconds in your mouth before spitting it out. You can also modify this treatment by doing it separately. Mix baking sodas with water until it becomes pasty, and apply it on your sore. Then add salt in lukewarm water, and wash your mouth.
Good dental hygiene
A good dental hygiene routine must be put into practice. Avoid acidic foods while your mouth ulcer is still fresh to prevent further pain and irritation. Also avoid spicy, salty or sour foods until the ulcer has healed.
