How to Get Rid of Smoke Breath

Nowadays, the health risks of drinking and smoking became better known. While individuals, communities, and government organizations moved to limit smoking and drinking, smoke and alcohol odors became less desirable and often abhorrent.

Smoking is an addiction and it affects millions of people. It also results in many unpleasant side effects. Obviously, one bad effects of smoking is having bad breath. Why does smoking make smokers have bad breath? Smoking tends to dry out the mouth because it reduces the presence of saliva, which keeps the mouth moist and washes away food particles and bacteria. A buildup of bacteria in the mouth will result in foul-smelling breath. In addition, the chemicals that are inhaled by the smoker tend to cling to the soft tissues of the mouth and increase the presence of bad breath. Brush your teeth

Brush your teeth after meals and after smoking. Use toothpaste with baking soda to eliminated bad breath. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and also brush your tongue for this is the region where most bacteria tend to build up. You can also use a tongue scraper to clean your tongue.

Peppermint oil

Prepare a natural mouth rinse of water and a few drops of peppermint oil, and rinse several times per day. Ensure that you only rinse with this solution; do not swallow.

Drink coffee

Do you know that coffee has such a strong odor of its own that it overpowers the smoke smell. No one will notice the smoke because they will smell the coffee. So, drink a lot of coffee.

Water and Vinegar

You can have mouthwash using mixture of water and vinegar. Rustle it in your mouth for 60 seconds and then spit it out. The vinegar won’t taste great in your mouth, but it is well known for getting rid of strong odors.

Chlorophyll breath freshener

The new breath freshener uses a specially developed combination of natural ingredients, the active of which is chlorophyll that is a plant-derived chemical effectively removes odors. Quit smoking

All in all getting rid of cigarette breath can be a huge challenge, with quitting smoking cigarettes the only real way to achieve it. Fortunately if you combine the above tips when needed you should be able to mask your cigarette breath when you need to.
